RSPB WELCHES DAM
Explore More
If you’re feeling energetic, and are in search of more bird spotting, then you could take the walk out to RSPB Welches Dam. The walk from the village centre is around 2.5 miles and is largely on good, all-weather surface, including some roads. Please remember that due to its rural location you would need to do the return walk as well!
Depending on the season, you may see Whooper swans, Widgeon, Godwit, Lapwings or even a colourful Kingfisher. Check out the reserve’s website for details and opening times.
