LNER have launched a new communituy book swap shelf at their station in Peterborough.

There is a “drop off” basket in the main station concourse and LNER said that they welcome donations of books from various genres.

The books are then placed on a shelf in the waiting room on platform 3 and open for everybody to take a book, have a read and replace when they can.

The initiative has been set up and supported by the National Literacy Trust.
